Gutenberg Editor – Pages and Posts

Our plugin developers are working on adding the widgets to the new Gutenberg editor.
We will have an update out soon. In the meantime you can still apply our widgets in the new WordPress Gutenberg editor by following the steps below.
After updating to WordPress 5.0, you’ve probably noticed the new page and post editor – Gutenberg.
The current version of our plugin still needs to use the Classic editor in WordPress to generate shortcodes on pages and posts


You can still use the Classic editor in WordPress by installing this plugin – Classic Editor plugin
When you have installed and activated the Classic Editor plugin your page and post editor will be set back to the original editor from prior versions of WordPress. Now you can use the flexmls shortcode generator (pictured above) to apply widgets to your pages and posts.

Applying Widgets To The Gutenberg Editor

If you need to apply a shortcode to the new Gutenberg editor, first use the Classic editor to generate the shortcode and copy it.
Next, you can change a setting under Settings>Writing (on the WordPress dashboard menu) .
There you will find this setting…
Set it to “Block Editor” to revert back to the Gutenberg editor.
Now edit or create a new page.
Click on the “Add block”(plus sign) icon, select the "Shortcode block"
Paste in the shortcode you copied from the classic editor…
